Details
High academic quality
All summer schools consist of intensive full-time programmes in which a wide variety of teaching methods are used, ranging from lectures, workshops and debates to visits and seminars. Sessions are taught by (inter)national speakers and experts from both within and outside the academic world. For some programmes, participants are required to do some preparatory readings or take an examination/make an assignment at the end of the course. An intensive learning experience with maximum impact is guaranteed thanks to the international composition of the classroom, the interactive set-up of the courses and the approachability of the lecturers.
Language of instruction
English is the language of instruction of all programmes within Antwerp Summer University. As active participation is compulsory in all summer schools, English proficiency in reading, speaking and writing is required.
