Overview
The ACU is the world's first international university network, promoting and supporting excellence in higher education in the Commonwealth. In 2021, the ACU will once again be supporting undergraduate students from UK member universities to attend a summer school at member universities across the Commonwealth.
Details
Participating in an international summer school is a great way for students to learn new skills, increase their intercultural understanding, network and have fun while benefiting from the teaching and expertise of another ACU member institution.
In 2019 and 2020, students travelled to summer schools in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Nigeria, Singapore, South Africa, and Uganda. You can read some of their stories here.
These grants are funded by the kind legacy of Major Harold William Paxton.
How to apply
Submit the application form to the International Office / Global Mobility Office of your home university. The university will carry out an internal selection process and nominate two candidates to the ACU. Internal deadlines may vary so check the deadline with your university before applying.
