EMPOWERING THE ART WORLD WITH TECH

At Book a Street Artist we have a clear vision: empowering artistic talent and making it universally accessible. We believe that talent should be valued independently from the context it is presented in. Therefore, we build tech products and tools to enable artists to manage and promote themselves in a more efficient way and to match clients and artists with each other perfectly. Our artists are from the fields of music, performance and visual art. Our clients range from private individuals celebrating birthdays or weddings to company parties and conferences to major brands implementing their marketing campaigns.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, create, and schedule posts in 3 different social media platforms: Linkedin, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Engage with our artists (and clients) via social media
  • Grow our social media audience in these 3 channels: Linkedin, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Analyze the performance of each one of our social media platforms and iterate on the go until finding the right kind of posts that work best on each platform.
  • Occasionally help with translations & research.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Autonomy and full responsibility of your own projects supervised directly by the marketing and founding team.
  • An inspiring start-up environment in the heart of Berlin-Kreuzberg with flat hierarchies, fast decision-making, and great company culture.
  • A highly passionate and dedicated team of young entrepreneurs, designers and many many artists, i.e. people who love what they do on a daily basis. We are an international mix from countries like Colombia, Germany, Uruguay, Portugal, France, Lithuania, Brazil...
  • High learning effect and lots of direct & immediate feedback, while bringing in own ideas and the potential to have a big impact on our clients and artists.
  • Access to our artists' and clients' events. Get to know the urban art scene and inspiring artists from Berlin and around the world.
  • Work in a startup that grows organically and acts ethically: We are a purpose-driven for-profit startup with a social mindset. We put people before money, and we have strong ethical values. If you are aligned with these ideas, this is your place to be!

TO KEEP IN MIND

  • Yes, we work in the creative industry. However, much of our work is 'behind-the-scenes' which means office work is a big part of our daily business.
  • Working in a startup sounds cool & inspiring. It is also quite chaotic and there is much potential for frustration and disillusion if you are not hands-on, resourceful and a great self-manager.
  • Sometimes, tasks need to change massively and from one day to the other you find yourself doing something that was not part of this description. That's part of the game & you need to be at ease with it.
