Bridgestone - Connected mobility internship

But we’re also preparing for smart factories, focusing on digitalising our retail environment, and developing leading digital mobility solutions to deliver convenience sustainability and efficiency to our customers. The intern will work in Digital Lab and will collaborate to create know-how and develop useful software/algorithms to automatically elaborate roads data, such as unevenness parameters, coming from different sources.


Core Responsibility & Working relationship 

The intern will work in Digital Lab department, in the Smart Road group. He/She will use his/her engineering background to support, develop and enrich the subject area of BSEMEA Digital Solutions.

Description of Ideal Candidate:

  • Bachelor Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Computer Science, brilliantly achieved 
  • Being student of a Civil/Mechanical/Computer Science graduate course or having achieved a Master Degree in the aforementioned fields 
  • Excellent knowledge of Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)  
  • Experience with Matlab, Labview, Python,C/C#/C++ 
  • Strong knowledge in physical interaction between the tire and the road, vehicles dynamics 
  • Strong interest in connected car, autonomous and the future of transportation 
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment  
  • Great communication skills, English is a must.
