The CSO is one of the three executive bodies of the NATO Science and Technology Organization (STO). Within the framework of the STO collaborative business model, the CSO provides executive and administrative support to the S&T activities conducted through the STO scientific and technical committees (level 2) and working groups (level 3). The CSO Offers internship opportunities in the following departments:
- Directorate (Strategy, Policy, S&T Board related activities)

This program is open to current students, having completed two years university, or graduated since less than 12 months. Internships are normally for 6 months. Interns shall be NATO nationals and at least 21, they will receive a monthly remuneration of € 1.237,00 (France 2020). A NATO security clearance will be required prior to starting the internship.
