Changemakers are never satisfied.
Life’s greatest accomplishments have always started with change – brought to life by people who looked at the world with all of its imperfections, and saw how it should – and could – be. Those who selflessly assembled behind a singular vision and made it a reality. Because true impact happens when we organize and work together.
Over the past three years, Public Interest Registry celebrated .ORGs working in their communities and across the world to enact impactful change. But the world never stops moving and champions never sleep. These special individuals and organizations are those who say to each other, “We can do even more.”
This year’s 4th annual .ORG Impact Awards recognizes these changemakers and their continued commitment to inspiring and making real impact across the globe. The mission-driven .ORG Community has accomplished much and we commend and celebrate their restless passion for continuing to push forward, to grow, to make the world into what it should be.
Some people may look at them and say, “Don’t ever change.” We say, “Don’t ever stop.”

Eligibility
- The .ORG Impact Awards (the “Program”) is open only to individuals who are at least eighteen (18) years old and have permission to nominate the individual or entity that is the registrant, or is affiliated with the registrant, of a second level .ORG domain name.
- Individuals or entities who reside in the Islamic Republic of Iran, Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, Sudan, the Syrian Arab Republic, or Crimea may not nominate or be identified as a “Nominee” (defined in Section 5).
- Employees of Public Interest Registry and any of its parent and affiliate companies as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and household members of each such employee are not eligible to nominate individuals or entities or be considered as a Nominee for any award.
- The Program is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.

Cost/funding for participants
The winner of the .ORG of the Year award will receive a donation of $40,000 USD while the other category winners will receive $10,000 USD each. Winning organizations have the flexibility to use award funds however they see fit in order to advance their missions. All finalists will also receive a free digital toolkit to help promote their accomplishment on social media.
