Become a ŠKODA intern and learn close up how one of the most modern factories in the Czech Republic works. As part of an annual program, you will go through various departments, a foreign internship, and for example also work in our dealer network. Any fresh graduate with a master’s degree can sign up.

What is the scope of the ŠKODA Trainee program?
The ŠKODA Trainee program is individually tailored to each intern according to their target focus. The core of the whole program is ‘rotations’, which are arranged to correspond as far as possible to selected target positions (e.g. Interns in the Technical Development of engines will gain experience not only in technical development, but will also undergo rotation in engine production, then quality and further rotation related to the future target position).
Through rotations, you will become familiar with ŠKODA AUTO, its structure and corporate culture. Last but not least, you will get an opportunity to participate in the implementation of interesting projects and undergo a series of trainings. For several months, you will also look into other Group brands.

Where it is possible to complete the internship abroad?
ŠKODA AUTO is one of few companies on the Czech market offering internships within the Trainee program. The internship may be completed at any of the Group’s companies, however, depending on the need and possibilities of the target department. Currently, internships are preferred at plants strategic of the company in Russia, China and India, and also plants in Germany which are Ingolstadt Audi or VW Wolfsburg.

What do you need to know, have and be able to do:
- Completed master’s degree at the start, maximum 1 year after graduation
- English language at advanced level, German language is an advantage
- Work or study experience abroad, or internship during your studies

Cost/funding for participants
An intern’s salary is based on the tariff system, basic salary and performance. Excellent results are reflected in the personal evaluation, to which the interns is entitles after 3 months with the company. Even during the first year, intern can also use company benefits such as subsidized meals and accommodation, subsidized leases of ŠKODA cars, pension insurance and others.
