Overview
The 12th International Summer School on Digital Innovation and Startup Entrepreneurship - DigiBus2024 is designed to introduce attendees to the world of start-ups and multi-channel marketing and provide them with the advanced technical skills needed to identify, engage, and develop relationships with customers in a digital environment.
Organized by the University of the Aegean, Department of Information & Communication Systems Engineering, 1 – 5 July 2024, it is taking place on the beautiful island of Samos, Greece.
DigiBus2024 is targeting digital entrepreneurs and marketers who want to improve their skills and be informed for the state of the art practices. You will be able to meet professionals, willing to share their knowledge and experience.
Participants will learn how to develop digital “painkillers” and at the same time increase their online business visibility and conversion rates, thanks to modern growth-hacking marketing strategies.

- Digital Marketing Plan - Create a digital marketing strategy, grow your online audience, increase sales and allocate marketing budget across a number of online marketing channels.
- Social Media Marketing - Benefits of Social Media marketing, Create and manage online communities. Social media advertising and monitoring.
- Google Adwords - Manage keyword listings, design and customize your ads, Build correct landing pages, Track your campaign results to maximize ROI.
- Search Engine Optimization - Understand how Search Engines work, Understand On-Page SEO, Implement optimization techniques and link-building strategies.
- Advertising Analytics - Understand the role of advertising analytics, identify metrics (KPIs) and business intelligence reports that matter.
- Conversion Marketing - Improve sales conversion rates on websites, Use statistical methods and software to gather data about click-through and conversion rates for online ads, Provide a roadmap for improving landing pages, shopping carts and forms.
DigiBus2024 ECTS Acknowledgement (3 ECTS credits)
Upon successful completion of the course (1 week lectures) and completion of an essay for a digital start-up, participants will receive a certification honoring 3 ECTS points. Certification of 3 ECTS will be awarded only to those participants that will choose to conduct an essay back home (not mandatory). However, all participants will receive a certification of attendance.

Summer School Participant
- includes access to the venue, welcome reception, lunches and coffee for six days, two dinners, electronic proceedings, certificate of attendance, school bag, badge
- charges: 350 Euros
Summer School Participant with stay
- includes access to the conference venue, welcome reception, lunches and coffee for six days, two dinners, electronic proceedings, certificate of attendance, school bag, badge, six nights at the students' dormitory / private single room with bathroom
- charges: 350 Euros for registration. Please send an email to the summer school asking for a booking to student's dormitory (Your staying will cost around 150 Euros).
