We welcome you to join us in Tokyo, Japan on Thursday and Friday, 2-3 December 2021 for the 4th Conference on Public Health in Asia (COPHA 2021) to be held online from Tokyo, Japan. This event is being organized alongside the 6th Asian Symposium on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH 2021).
Due to the uncertainty of travel restrictions and concerns over the global COVID-19 pandemic, COPHA 2021 will be held online. All participants have the option of presenting live via Zoom or submitting a pre-recorded presentation to be shown during the event.
About COPHA 2021
While life expectancy across the board is increasing, traditional health metrics, such as infant mortality rate and infectious disease rate remain constant reminders of our need to be vigilant and address the sharp health care disparities underlying Asian nations as well as the diverse challenges they face.
How can we ensure the equitable and efficient allocation of health-related resources across all Asia to meet basic needs and emergencies? What role can policy makers play in creating affordable universal health care?
With the theme Public Health Without Borders, it is hoped that today’s challenges in health care can be met with viable global solutions. Thus we welcome you to join us for this exciting symposium to share, learn and network in the beautiful city of Osaka, Japan!
