AGYLE connects young African and German leaders from business, politics and the media to establish a long-term business network and to develop innovative business models. The goal of AGYLE is to strengthen the African-German dialogue and to lay the foundation for cross-border economic cooperation.

About AGYLE – African German Young Leaders in Business

AGYLE brings together young leaders from Africa and Germany for long-term business networking. Direct encounter and partnership-based exchange between selected African countries and Germany promotes the development of innovative ideas and projects and thus lays the foundation for sustainable economic cooperation.
The AGYLE network includes young leaders from Ethiopia, Ghana, Rwanda, Senegal, Tunisia and Germany

In 2023, the young leaders dealt with the topic of digital transformation; in 2024, the focus of AGYLE will be "Circular Economy - How young leaders are shaping the transformation".

Candidates should be from:


Description of Ideal Candidate

You are...

→ a young leader up to 40 years of age,

→ from the field of business, politics, or media,

→ dealing with innovative solutions in the field of circular economy,

→ from Ethiopia, Ghana, Rwanda, Senegal, Tunisia, or Germany,

→ and willing to actively participate in the Young Leaders Alumni network.

(previous experience, already existing cooperations or projects in Africa are not necessary)

The AGYLE LIVE WEEK

Every year, a jury will choose 40 young leaders from Germany and selected African countries. In the fall of 2024, the young leaders will come together for a week of events, offering exclusive discussion forums with representatives from business and politics, as well as the opportunity to exchange ideas andnetwork. Through intercultural co-operation, professional formats and leadership impulses, the young leaders can develop personally and professionally.
