By opening access to real industry challenges, Airbus aims to spark curiosity, develop future talent and strengthen connections between education and industry. With support from Airbus experts, we want teams to tackle global challenges to create a safer, cleaner and better-connnected world.

THE COMPETITION
With the 2026 challenge we’ll be inviting university students worldwide to explore bold ideas to address genuine digital and aerospace challenges.
It’s an opportunity to develop and apply your skills in areas such as AI & big data, networks & cybersecurity and design & UX, while demonstrating creativity, teamwork and environmental stewardship. Participants will collaborate with peers, learn from Airbus experts, and experience what it means to activate their pioneering spirit and innovate for the future of aerospace.
The challenge will run to mid 2026 with a chance for the best teams to showcase their ideas and win some exciting prizes.

Description of Ideal Candidate
- The competition is open to teams of 3 to 5 students from around the world, currently studying for a Bachelors, Masters, MBA or PhD degree in any academic discipline.
- There are 3 progressively challenging rounds, followed by a final, when the 5 finalist teams present their ideas to a revered jury panel of Airbus and industry experts.
