EESTech Challenge (EESTEC Technology Challenge)

Topic

This year, the topic is AI Applications. Before the beginning of the competition, the organizing teams of EESTech Challenge Project are preparing educational materials that increase students’ awareness and knowledge in the selected topic.

Teams

Each competing team consists of three members that have the opportunity to gain practical knowledge about a technological topic that is chosen annually.

Rounds

The competition is structured into two rounds:

• ­The Local Rounds: Local hackathons that are organized by EESTEC branches in different European cities. In 2024, 18 cities are organizing a LRd, check out the Branches section to know more!
• The Final Round: The winners of Local Rounds have the opportunity to come together and compete. 2024 Final Round will be held in Sarajevo from 30th of May to 3rd of June.

The Final Round is the conclusion of the whole project, where all Local Round winners have the opportunity to come together, expand their network, develop their knowledge, compete with each other and grow throughout the process.

Electrical Engineering STudents’ European assoCiation (EESTEC) was founded in Eindhoven in 1986, with its aim to improve students’ international cooperation, as well as enable students from electrical profile Universities, Institutes and Technical Schools of Europe to cooperate with the industry, participate in competitions, professional training and other forms of professional development.

By its nature, EESTEC is an apolitical, non-governmental, and nonprofit student organization that brings together students organized into 48 Universities from 24 Countries.
