As a UX Design intern, you will dive into hands-on projects, gain valuable skills, and collaborate with experts driving innovation in digital products and energy infrastructure.
You will be joining the Lighthouse Monitoring & Observability team. Together with designers, developers, and product experts, you will help improve the user experience of our digital tools and platforms used across the company.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Supporting user research, interviews, and usability testing to understand user needs.
- Using our Figma design system to create wireframes and interactive prototypes with mock data.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (design, development, product) to refine and validate design solutions.
- Helping document UX findings, insights, and recommendations.
- Contributing to design system updates and UX chapter activities.
- Participating in workshops and team sessions to co-create ideas and enhance product usability.

Your Profile
We are looking for a motivated and curious student who’s passionate about design and user experience.
- You are currently studying for a bachelor or master in UX Design, Human-computer interaction, digital design or Interface design
- You have a basic understanding of user-centered design principles and are eager to learn more.
- You are comfortable with using Figma (or willing to learn quickly)
- You are a good communicator, and you enjoy working in a team.
- You are pro-active, creative, and detail oriented.
- You are fluent in English; German would be a plus.
