Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated, eager to learn, extremely accurate and self-driven student to join our Finance Operations team. As Cash Management intern you will be a part of the Finance Operations team located in Amsterdam. You will assist with a variety of Operational duties, such as group bank reconciliation, focusing on reaching pre-defined KPIs, building strong relationships and adding value through optimal customer service and improved processing efficiency. Additionally you will participate in projects in Cash Management, solve technical issues and enhance processes.
Details
Key Accountabilities
- Monitoring closely daily MT940s import, taking immediate action on technical issues
- Processing of bank statements and management of bank related suspense accounts
- Reconciling and clearing incoming payments with Accounts Receivable and outgoing payments with Accounts Payables, Treasury and HR
- Performing analysis and reconciliation of cash and bank accounts, resolving any discrepancies
- Close cooperation with AR and AP teams to ensure high accuracy on reconciliation
- Meeting the daily/weekly/monthly deadlines for bank statement processing
- Closing of the accounting periods without any delays, in accordance with Group closing calendar, policies and procedures
- Preparing month reports for internal controls and audit
- Achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Identifying trends in payment behaviors to increase auto reconciliation
- Maximizing the effectiveness and efficiency of Cash Management processing
- Reviewing processes and actively taking part on continuous improvements and projects activities
- Participating on Integration projects leading Cash Management as a Key User
- Supporting audit process

- 1 year, 2 terms internship (thesis internship is an option)
