Glencore’s Group Assurance function is seeking highly motivated graduates to join our Graduate Programme. This role will provide a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and develop a knowledge foundation of internal auditing with one of the world’s largest globally diversified natural resource companies. The Group Assurance function provides independent and objective critical Assurance to help strengthen the governance, risk management and controls through innovative practices, and supports the Board and senior management in protecting the stakeholders, assets, reputation, and sustainability of Glencore.

The position will offer a unique insight into Glencore’s worldwide business, covering industrial assets, commodity trading and corporate functions. When participating in the Group Assurance Graduate Programme, you will be an integral team member within the Group Assurance function and will be responsible to perform tasks relating to planning, fieldwork, reporting and follow-up of internal audits and advisory work.  You will receive comprehensive training and mentorship relating to internal audit from within the function. This support will enable you to build a foundation to develop your skillset as an internal audit, and assurance professional.

Academic requirements:

We are looking for students who are currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master’s degree, ideally in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering or Economics, and are available to start in 2024. We welcome graduates to join us from January through to December, based on your availability.

Please also include your CV as well as your covering letter, that showcases your motivations and skills including initiative and resilience.
