As an international central securities depository (ICSD) headquartered in Luxembourg, Clearstream Banking S.A. operates the post-trading business – i.e. issuance, settlement and custody – for the Eurobond market and services for securities from over 59 domestic markets worldwide.
Your responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of ongoing projects with a regulatory/political focus. Main topics of interest are currently the shortening of the settlement cycle to T+1 in the EU, the Savings and Investments Union, and the European Commission’s Market Integration and Supervision Package.
- Prepare background analyses, briefings, internal newsletters and presentations on policy or regulatory strategy topics.
- Undertake research on capital market, regulation and policy on new or ongoing regulatory initiatives in Europe and/or on financial market integration world-wide.

Your profile:
- You are enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's Degree programme with a recognized institution focusing on Law, Political Science, Business or Finance and can provide an internship agreement, OR have graduated with a Bachelor's degree or similar for no more than 6 months.
- You are interested in political and regulatory issues and have knowledge of the institutions and legislative procedure in the European Union.
- You are a quick learner, have structured working methods and excellent drafting skills. You are proactive in finding and processing information.
- You are an independent user of MS-Office applications.
- Your English is fluent (written and spoken). German and/or French will be considered an asset
