Within Lazard’s Financial Advisory, the Equity Advisory team provides comprehensive guidance to corporate clients across EMEA on a wide range of equity market related scenarios and transactions. This includes capital markets transactions, shareholder activism, the development of a company’s strategic equity story, investor engagement planning, and trading analytics analysis.

Our team’s missions:
- Driving and coordinating all phases of the IPO process, advising on syndicate banks selection, incentive structuring, investor targeting, offering size and pricing
- Providing advice on all other ECM products such as primary and secondary ABBs, rights issues and equity linked products
- Delivering customized guidance on live shareholder activism campaigns, incorporating both tactical and strategic planning and execution of the campaign defense, as well as advice on addressing dissident challenges during shareholder meetings
- Assisting companies on activism response planning and preparation programs
- Providing assistance on contested M&A transactions
- Supporting M&A teams in equity financing considerations for our clients
- Assistance in developing the capital markets narrative and financial communication for EMEA companies, including in relation to earnings, roadshows, investor days, shareholder meetings

As an intern, you will be fully integrated into a pan-European team and the broader global Lazard Capital Markets and Financial Advisory platform.
You will be working in an international environment alongside members of Lazard's M&A coverage teams, delivering high end financial and strategic advice to Lazard's clients.

Qualifications
- Prior experience in investment banking and/or public markets buy side / sell side is a must
- Top tier business or engineering school
- Ability to produce / present technically written materials / client pitches
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task across multiple projects
- Hard skills: excellent technical skills on Office Suite and professional investment banking tools (Bloomberg, FactSet, Dealogic …)
- Proficiency in professional English and French
