Overview

Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking a 2025 Fall Part-time Merchandising Intern for Women’s Ready to Wear in New York City. As a Merchandising Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience within the fast-paced Merchandising team at Louis Vuitton Americas. The intern will support the Women's RTW business by assisting with merchandising strategies, sales analysis, product launches, and cross-functional collaboration. This role provides exposure to luxury fashion retail with a focus on developing analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Missions 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the maintenance of merchandising reports and decks to analyze sales trends + inform business strategies
  • Conduct competitive analysis of the regional Women's RTW market
  • Support collection launches by creating product knowledge tools, collecting feedback, analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Participate in team meetings, product trainings, and store visits
  • Manage routine deliverables and ad-hoc requests, demonstrating strong time management and problem-solving skills
  • Sample closet management and tracking
  • Support team with seasonal buy prep and showroom needs
  • Routinely monitor + engage with our LVA WRTW community chatline for retail support
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Visual Merchandising, Retail Learning, Supply Chain, and Client Relations

Description of Ideal Candidate

Profile

We welcome individuals with relevant coursework or internship expereince within merchandising. Familiarity and passion for the luxury fashion industry is ideal. A strong interest in and familiarity with the luxury fashion industry is highly encouraged. The role requires excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and possess strong time management skills, demonstrating reliability and dedication. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.

Criteria

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate/graduate student pursuing a degree in related field of study
  • Able and willing to work at assigned location or able and willing to relocate to NYC
  • We are open to Part-time 6-month contract with a start date in August 2025
  • Legally authorized to work in the US

Compensation

  • Undergraduate Interns will be compensated at: $20/hour
  • Graduate Interns will be compensated at $25/hour
