Operations at Morgan Stanley is part of the key infrastructure supporting our core businesses of Institutional Securities, Wealth Management and Investment Management, by acting as the front line of defence for the Firm's financial & operational well-being. This includes settling daily transactions, devising and implementing effective controls, developing strong client relationships, and engaging with business partners to enable development of new structures, businesses, and markets. Operations professionals work closely with most departments, partnering with Sales & Trading, Finance, Legal, and Technology, to support the firm in maintaining its position as a global market leader in financial services.

The 12-month Operations Industrial Placement Program runs annually, beginning 1st July 2024, with open roles across various teams within operations in our Frankfurt office, home of our European entity Morgan Stanley Europe SE. Successful applicants will become a fully integrated member of their respective team, presenting an excellent opportunity for candidates to broaden their business knowledge within a challenging, stimulating, and dynamic environment. Each available role in the operations department provide a valuable platform to gain insight and exposure into the financial services industry.

You are an undergraduate/postgraduate student with an optional or compulsory internship as an element your degree program. Ideally, you should be studying a Business, Economics, Finance and/or German Language related degree.
You have strong analytical and organisational skills, as well as fluency in the English language. Proficiency in German not required.
