Your activities
As an investment specialist you will be often involved in analysing, trading and monitoring stocks, loans, and other financial instruments at one of our clients in the financial industry. Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Analysing investment opportunities based on risk adjusted returns
- Actively proposing investment opportunities for clients
- Monitoring liquidity, credit spreads and intrinsic values of your portfolios
- Calculating the most important Greeks (e.g., delta, theta) for derivatives in your portfolios
- Understanding the vanilla and exotic instruments in detail and pricing these products accurately
- Monitoring market trends and the impact of these movements on your portfolios
- Analysing previous investment decisions and generating key takeaways
- Producing financial models for integration into decision-making processes
- Identifying critical areas of business performance for other stakeholders
- Reporting discrepancies and issues to senior team leaders when they arise

- You have 0-3 years of work experience and want to learn everything about investments and asset management
- You want to put the skills into practice that you have acquired during your master’s or PhD in Finance, Investments, Economics or another related study
- You are passionate about numbers and data and always see opportunities for improvement
- You have an affinity with investment applications (e.g., Bloomberg, BlackRock Aladdin, Morningstar Direct) and are eager to master the required skills
- You do not hesitate to use your analytical skills to solve complex problems in a creative and logical way
