What you’ll do

  • Together with the N-SIDE team, you will design, develop and maintain Optimization software code base related to the Energy Domain. For instance, you will contribute to the development of innovative market clearing solutions for energy market operators (see for example the Euphemia algorithm);
  • You will participate in ensuring the scalability, robustness and high performance of our Energy applications, while always seeking and integrating client feedback;
  • You will interact closely with business experts and the product users to continuously refine our value proposition and ensure a good market fit.

Description of Ideal Candidate

About you

  • You have a master in Applied Mathematics and a strong background in Optimization and Operations Research;
  • Young graduates are welcome;
  • You have programming knowledge in Java/Python and are familiar with object-oriented programming;
  • You have a strong interest in the design, valorisation and use of diverse advanced analytics techniques;
  • Experience in the Energy sector, in particular electricity markets and power systems operation, is a nice-to-have;
  • You are customer-minded, rigorous and results-driven;
  • You have a great team spirit, creativity, sense of initiative and responsibility;
  • You are fluent in English, other languages are a plus.
