As a Graduate Trader, you will learn to continuously price and trade financial products to fulfill our market making responsibilities. You will need to digest information from multiple sources and take action to adjust trading parameters. Your decisions will have a direct impact on the company’s trading profits! As a Graduate Trader, you will have the freedom to find your niche within the firm and excel. The sky is the limit.
Your first six months
As a Graduate Trader at ORA Traders, you will have the opportunity to learn from the traders, quants, and software developers. You will participate in a traineeship program focused on enhancing your knowledge first and foremost of trading, theoretical models, but also on programming and mathematics. The training module consists of in-house and external courses and practical trading experience from our traders and software developers. Within three months you will start trading on the desk where you will continue to learn from a mentor.

Description of Ideal Candidate:
- Student or Msc. in an analytical or quantitative field of studies such as engineering, mathematics, physics, econometrics or data science
- Experience with programming in Python, C++ and Excel i.e. VBA is a strong advantage
- Entrepreneurial and Strong analytical skills
- Financial engineering
- Self-directed and able to work under minimal supervision
- Team player and Communicator
