As a Junior Technical Consultant in IT Configuration Management, you will play a crucial role in supporting and maintaining IT assets to meet business objectives and regulatory requirements. Your contributions will include assisting in the development and implementation of configuration management plans, maintaining accurate IT asset records, implementing CMDB tools, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Description of Ideal Candidate

What You Need to Succeed

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience: around 2 years in IT service management or related fields.
Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and best practices.
Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in programming languages (Java, Python, C++) and databases (SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
Experience with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
Understanding of various platforms (Windows, Linux, macOS).
Language Proficiency: Fluent in English; proficiency in German or French is highly valued.
Preferred experience: Familiarity with CMDB solutions (e.g., OpenText UCMDB, BMC Helix CMDB, ServiceNow CMDB).
Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL 4, COBIT 5, TOGAF 9, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
