We are Restless Development, the youth-led development agency. Young people are most affected by the most persistent problems in the world, yet are frequently overlooked as part of the solution. Our mission is to place young people at the forefront of change and development. Our strength comes from being led by young people and young professionals, from the boardroom right through to the field. We have been working hard since 1985 and over the past 30 years, our programmes have reached over 7 million young people directly and indirectly.
We are a truly global agency, driven by ten hubs across the world. These hubs not only deliver projects, but offer expertise, support and innovation for young people and partners around the world, wherever they are based. Restless Development has been working with young people since 1985 and our work is led by thousands of young people every year.
In 2018 we trained 7,685 young leaders across 10 countries, who helped to unlock the leadership of over 335,000 changemakers in their communities in order to solve their most pressing problems. We worked with 914 partners in nearly 60 countries to strengthen youth-led civil society, and we partnered with hundreds of national governments to improve the way they work with young people.
WE WORK WITH THOUSANDS OF VOLUNTEERS EVERY YEAR WHO ARE LEADING CHANGE AROUND THE WORLD.
