Creative Photo Awards is a project of Siena Awards, dedicated to rewarding originality, experimentation, and imagination by encouraging the creative use of the medium of photography in all its forms, including abstract and conceptual ideas.
Details
Creative Photo Awards aims to recognize and reward visionary artists using photographic processes and images. It’s searching for photos born out of the passion and from the author’s deep sensitivity: the result from a need to express feelings through the image, a unique view of the surrounding reality. We seek to find artists and unique souls who breathe and live for creativity. Creative Photo Awards aims to be a perfect instrument, which allows a person to communicate with the world and share their vision. What matters is your unique vision and your skills in translating that vision into exceptional and original work. Show us how you’re pushing the photographic medium, experimenting with different techniques or creative approaches to bring your ideas to life.
In this competition, everyone is free to use any technique. Only the final effect counts. We break all the rules, and we want you to break them with us by creating new trends in art. Our judges evaluate the work of artists in different categories so that the participants have a better chance at precisely defining their niche and showcasing their innovative prowess in the area they feel most comfortable with. The winners will be exhibited in Siena alongside Siena Awards!

Exhibition & Gala
All winning photographers for this award will be exhibited in Siena (Italy) alongside Siena Awards Festival! An opening reception will be held for artists, invited media, photo editors and industry insiders for a night of art appreciation and networking during one of the world’s largest international ceremonies dedicated to photography.

Award winners receive press coverage from publications and media outlets around the world - the kind of exposure that can lead to viral, global recognition of your work. Winners and selected entrants of Siena Awards have been featured in major publications including The Guardian, El Pais, Internazionale, Corriere Della Sera, The Times, The Sun, CNN, Spiegel Online, Daily Mirror. All photographers retain full copyrights for their own work.
Winners and Finalists grant Creative Photo Awards limited and restricted use of winning photos only to promote the photographers themselves and in connection with marketing the Creative Photo Awards competition itself. Details can be found in the Competition rules.

Description of Ideal Candidate
Creative Photo Awards competition is open to professional and amateur photographers. Anyone over 18 years of age can enter the competition.
What are the photo specifications for uploading?
Files must meet the following specification:
- sRGB or Adobe98 colour space, 8-bit;
- Longest dimension must not exceed 1920 pixels, 72dpi.
- Saved as a JPG;
- No Watermarks / Copyright Units / Logos on images;
- Only bleed photographs without borders;
Finalist Entrants must be able to provide a high resolution digital file of minimum 8 Megapixel (Minimum Pixel Size 2400px x 3600px at 300dpi).

Entry Fees
The payment of your Fee to allow you to participate in the photo contest can be made as follows:
- 1 image free to enter
- 3 images (including the free one) € 20
- Each additional image € 10
- Series € 35
The total number of entries is intended to be distributed freely across the different categories.
