Overview
SEA Women is an initiative by the Young Southeast Asia Leader's Initiative (YSEALI) Women's Leadership Academy Alumni Network, and backed by the U.S. Mission to ASEAN and Wedu, a women's leadership non-profit in Asia. Our aim is to educate, connect, and empower women across ASEAN to solve regional and global challenges. Every year, YSEALI Women members run initiatives in women empowerment, civic engagement, environmental protection, and economic development in their respective countries.

WHAT IS SOUTHEAST ASIAN WOMEN?
Southeast Asia Women is a platform that features outstanding women leaders in different industries across Southeast Asia.
Our goal is to create a place where the public can discover women of influence working in a wide range of fields, and provide an easy way for our visitors to contact these women for collaborations and speaking engagements.
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
When it comes to women leaders, there is a lack of visibility in Southeast Asia. The presence of women is sorely lacking on expert panels and speaker lists, and women representation in media featuring experts remains inadequate.
We want to change this by making it easy for organizers and decision-makers to discover domain experts who are women.
