Dear delegates and advisors,
It is my great honor to be your Sec-Gen for SMUNC XXVIII! I am looking forward to a great conference and meeting all of you in November. Model UN is a unique opportunity to learn about world affairs whilst developing lifelong skills in debate and conflict resolution. For many of us, it has been a life-changing extracurricular that helped set us on our career paths. No matter the field, one’s ability to navigate conflicts that are complex - and sometimes completely absurd - is a lifelong asset. Regardless if this is your first conference or you are a seasoned veteran, SMUNC sets out to provide an experience and environment that accommodates all experience levels and goals. Our staff is currently hard at work planning conference logistics and committees, and we are extremely excited to show you the results this November. I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible when that time comes.
