Startup Extreme was created by the passionate founders of Startup Norway in 2015, with the goal of showcasing the Norwegian startup scene to the world. Seven years on, Norway has evolved into one of Europe's fastest growing startup ecosystems.
The time has come for Startup Extreme to take it to the next level and work towards a new mission:

We believe that true connections don't happen in office meeting rooms, on video calls, or at traditional events and conferences; but when people are put in situations that allow them to be real, authentic, and a little outside of their comfort zones. Not your typical tech conference
Once a year since 2015, the most impactful and influential figures in tech journey to Hemsedal, Norway to create Startup Extreme - a startup event dedicated to bridging new relationships and fostering the growth of entrepreneurship internationally.

Normally at Startup Extreme startups pitch in a rafting boat, this years challenge is to creating a selling and impressive commercial.

We bet it wasn’t in a raft, thrashing down rapids while sharing a massive smile and adrenaline rush. Startup Extreme is built by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. We offer you a unique opportunity to showcase your dreams to a global audience, in an atmosphere that allows you to truly connect with people. Last year, investors and press traveled from six continents (unfortunately no Antarctic penguins) and more than 30 countries.
We are founders, investors, enthusiasts, executives, journalists, and students. All of us are making our journey to Voss to speak, pay-it-forward, grow our business, discover, support, and meet new people.
