About the Job

  • The Internal Communication internship position is based in our Geneva office with reporting line to the Internal Communication Manager who is part of the Communication Unit in the ICT Division.
  • Your core purpose is to support the Internal Communication Manager in all activities contributing to driving the engagement of our staff towards the realization of our Objectives and Mission, enhancing our Corporate Culture across the regions.
  • Successful candidates will blend communication, marketing and journalism disciplines, demonstrate a strong ability to write and create a wide variety of content in a number of formats. You will help to organize internal events.

Job Description

  • Work closely with the Internal Communication Manager and provide help in managing internal events.
  • Gather relevant information and publish internal information.
  • Draft communications ensuring clarity and consistency of the messages.
  • Deliver regular communication in a timely manner through internal communication channels.
  • Help organize and coordinate internal events, such as, trainings, staff meetings, knowledge sharing events, team building sessions, to service the business lines.
  • Publish knowledge sharing material to ensure communication flows across the regions.
  • Ad hoc support for the creation and management of other internal communication initiatives.
  • Provide ad hoc support for the development of specific projects, such as Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR ), memberships, onboarding process, environmental sustainability, Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) related initiatives, sports & well-being, etc.
  • Meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, maintain a strong attention to detail, and work collaboratively and independently.

Your Qualification

We are looking for a person who has a communication background and can work independently in a dynamic environment.

More specifically, you have the following skills and competencies:

  • Enrolled in Bachelor or Master degree in Communication
  • Experience in communication or event management positions is a plus
  • You enjoy collaborating with others to reach common goals
  • You are comfortable to work in an international and multi-cultural workplace
  • You pride yourself in providing a great client experience
  • You easily build trust with others by being down to earth, realistic and being open to other perspectives and ideas
  • You are adept and agile to perform in a fast-paced environment, and managing competing demands and priorities
  • You have a high level of integrity and confidentiality
  • You have an interest in impact finance and/or sustainable development
  • You are able to work and write comfortably in both English and French
  • Swiss/EU National or valid Swiss Work Permit is required
