TÜV NORD GROUP is a technical service provider with worldwide activities. Founded in 1869 and headquartered in Hanover, Germany, the Group employs more than 10,000 people in more than 70 countries of Europe, Asia, America and Africa. The TÜV NORD GROUP is a global leaders in technology servcies with the clear aim of accompanying its clients with prudence and foresight into the future. You are welcome at the TÜV NORD GROUP even while you are still studying. We offer various cooperation opportunities for students.
We don’t regard interns as a source of cheap labour, rather we consider that your internship should help you find out the professional direction that you want to take. Come to us and find the right practical application for your theoretical training. And another thing: quite a few of our permanent staff started life with us as interns.
Internships (work placements) generally last between two and six months. This is long enough for you to gain new knowledge and skills by working with a technical service provider that is active on the international stage. Of course you will receive appropriate supervision and payment.
This is why TÜV NORD GROUP is part of the “Fair Company” initiative, which was started by the magazine “Junge Karriere”(Young Career). We are positively committed to a responsible relationship with interns.
A course of university study primarily imparts basic theoretical knowledge for use in subsequent professional activities. But the practical side generally comes second. We offer students practical experience in many areas of work within TÜV NORD GROUP.
Works students are therefore placed in areas which show as much commonality with their degree subject as possible. This practical work experience offers you the opportunity to set your own personal goals during your time at university, or to rethink them.
And last but not least: you will be paid for what you do. You can undertake full-time work during the university holidays, or you are also welcome to work part-time for 20 hours a week during term time.
Finl degree thesis
If you have already been an intern or works student at TÜV NORD GROUP, or even if you are coming to us for the first time, we will be very happy to support you with your Bachelor’s, Master’s or Diploma thesis. And of course we will also be happy to welcome students of [...], who have not worked with us before.
When selecting the subject of your thesis, you should consider your personal interests, strengths and your course of study up to the present time. We will then provide you, for example, with exclusive data material.
And of course by working with us you will be raising your chances of entering TÜV NORD GROUP after gaining your degree. We assume that you will have a mentor and a first and second examiner for your thesis at the university. It is also important that the question of the rights to the results of your work is clarified.
