Details
The heart of a spacecraft lies in its propulsion system, and that's why we, at The Exploration Company, are dedicated to developing our own cutting-edge Propulsion Systems ensuring the highest level of efficiency and reliability in our space endeavors.
We want you to support us in the development of simulation models to predict the behavior of the pressurization and feed system of the propulsion system. The models are crucial for predicting the behavior of test benches and more importantly the flight vehicle behavior. You will be embedded in the simulation team who are also a crucial part of the testing team as they support in data analysis and test predictions
Activities:

Anchoring of the development models of the Propulsion System of our Nyx Earth propulsion system

Implementing automated post processing scripts of simulation results.

Development of automated optimization algorithms to allow for rapid regression of simulation results against experimental test data.
-
Support the post-processing strategy for experimental results for use in validation of simulation models.

Act as auxiliary support to test campaigns when needed.

Description of Ideal Candidate
Competencies:
-
Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and the development of fluid flow systems.

Understanding of general model anchoring.

Understanding of optimization strategies for model anchoring.
-
Competency with data management in python using standard python libraries such as NumPy/Pandas
Desirables:

Experience in the development of models in Ecosim.
-
Hands-on experience on development of fluidic test benches.
