CIP offers highly motivated and successful individuals the opportunity to expand their skills while gaining work experience in an international environment.
CIP’s interns participate directly in the on-going research or support an operational unit, under the supervision of qualified professionals.
The research work at CIP covers a wide range of disciplines from biotechnology and molecular biology, to laboratory research and field work.
These appointments may be located at CIP’s Lima headquarters or any of its regional or country offices located in 20 countries worldwide.

HOW DO I APPLY?
Thesis Research Students / Graduate Internships (International/National)
- Application: Send application with supporting documents to cip-internships@cgiar.org
- Evaluation: HR shares application with CIP leaders. If there is a,need, the Hiring Manager will contact the student.
- Scope of work: Hiring Manager contacts student and discusses the scope,of work for the appointment.
- Invitation Letter: When the appointment is approved, CIP will send a,formal invitation to the student.
- Documents: The student will fulfill all requirements before starting,the assignment.
Undergraduate Internships (International/National)
- Application: Students apply for the internship,opportunity posted on the website.
- Recruitment: HR will review and select resumes,according the profile requested.
- Interview: The shortlisted students will be interviewed by the Hiring Manager.
- Documents: The selected student will fulfill all requirements before starting the assignment.
