The Your Big Year Make An Impact Fellowship is a program designed to bridge skills from academia to career.
Details
Broken into six tracks, the program is a virtual and self-paced collection of exercises, reflection points and activities that lead you to build an action plan for your next steps in life. The curriculum teaches the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and how you can use your passions, skills and education to build an impactful career and life.
Features Overview
- Interactive Digital Platform and Mobile App! Our program is facilitated virtually through an interactive digital platform, making it accessible and convenient for every time zone! We even have a mobile App!
- Weekly Group Coaching: Facilitated by Your Big Year Team Leaders, these small group sessions are a place to ask questions, practice your tasks, learn from others on the same journey and most importantly, make new friends. The timing of the session changes each week to accommodate different times zones around the world. There are a total of 12 coaching sessions offered each cohort.
- Microcredentials & Digital Badges: As you complete the course work, you will earn badges that you can showcase professionally. Each participant is given a unique URL for their digital credentials.

How does it work?
Six times a year, we accept 50 young leaders into a cohort for the course. Applications are currently open for our next cohorts. The course is accessible for 3 months through the Your Big Year Platform. Your Big Year provides free group coaching sessions once a week to support your progress through the curriculum.
Once you are in the Your Big Year impact network, you will learn about other opportunities such as our latest Professional Projects, Town Halls with our CEO and Impact Challenges. Best of all, you will meet a lot of new friends from all over the globe!
