Overview

The ninth edition of the IPSA FLACSO Mexico Summer School in Concepts, Methods, and Techniques in Political Science will be held from June 17 to July 12th, 2024 in ONLINE MODALITY.

Details

The IPSA-FLACSO Summer School on Concepts, Methods, and Techniques in Political Science was founded in 2015 as a partnership between the International Political Science Association (IPSA) and FLACSO Mexico. It seeks to provide academics, students, and professionals from within and outside the social sciences with cutting-edge training in quantitative and qualitative research methods. Likewise, among the summer school's main objectives is to promote academic networks between Mexico, Latin America, and Europe.

Since its first edition, the summer school has offered an important number of two-week intensive courses where different techniques and methods of social inquiry are taught. In 2017 the offer was extended with a group of short introductory courses that can be taken as a complement to the two-week courses or separately.

This year IPSA and FLACSO México will join again forces with the Graduate Program in Political and Social Sciences at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico (UNAM). This collaboration will increase the Summer School's offer of innovative courses.

The seventh edition of the summer school will offer all scheduled courses in an online format, allowing participants to continue their learning in social science research methods.
