Overview

We aim to mobilize the world’s youth to achieve the 17 SDGs through transformative acts of kindness. This campaign attempts to create a positive culture of kindness, in which every young person's selfless act matters!

Details

Kindness is not defined by lofty stories, it exists all around us and needs to be celebrated at every moment of life because #KindnessMatters every day.

The need to contribute is a fundamental predisposition in human beings, who are inherently kind. Neuroscientific studies have shown that altruistic or kind behavior engages brain networks associated with reward processes that improve during youth. We hope to capitalise this fundamental biological need to build a new lethal combination for positive change.

We want to create a positive culture of kindness where a person's selfless act matters and to show how it can make a difference to the SDGs. We believe that young people should demonstrate how an act of kindness is a non-trivial task and that being kind is "cool".

We’re celebrating K3: kindness for self, others and nature, and invite you to share with us a simple act of kindness that you performed today – gave yourself some rest from daily routine, watered the plants, donated some blankets for a cause, or called your family. This exercise will take less than 30 seconds and will make you a part of our global kindness community. So, won't you help us make the world a kinder place?
