Camp 2030 is UNITE 2030’s global, in-person convening, bringing together top Youth Leaders from across the globe for 6 days of innovation and co-creation for the Sustainable Development Goals.
The 2022 Edition of Camp 2030 will take place from September 12th - 18th, 2022 in New York during Global Goals Week. Please note that due to COVID-19, the dates may need to be shifted.

Camp 2030 unites the world’s top youth leaders to solve the most pressing challenges that the world faces.
During Camp, Changemakers work in teams to develop innovative, creative, and scalable solutions to critical global challenges. As well, Camp 2030 is an unrivaled networking opportunity that creates friendships that transcend borders and last lifetimes.

Your 6 days at Camp 2030 are all about building - building relationships, building solutions, building teams, building skills, and building your networks.

During Camp, you will work in teams to develop solutions to the most critical challenges that the world faces. Using our proven innovation process alongside the support of our Partners, each Team will leave the Summit with an Action Plan for how they will then implement their solutions. For our winning teams, we provide support to help you bring your solutions to life.
What is Camp 2030?
Camp 2030 is a 6-day “innovation lab” for the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, hosted during Global Goals Week 2020. We energize you to take action to create a new solution to one of the most critical issues facing our world, and elevate your voice to help them take flight.
For the first time, we are engaging the next generation to become the LEADING GENERATION to create positive, lasting social impact.
- Day 1: New York City to Camp
Campers will gather in New York City, a hub for sustainable development, connecting with old friends and new.
Together, they will board a bus to head toward a secluded and woodsy corner of Upstate New York (just 4 hours from New York City) where they’ll find Camp, a glorious 135 acres of all the best memories you have from summer camp.

- Day 2- 6: Innovation Lab

- Day 7: Global Goals Week
On the 17th, Campers will return to New York City, this time for the first day of Global Goals Week, this time with life-long friendships, knowledge, insights, and a call-to-action for how to achieve the SDGs.
Back in New York City, Campers will pitch their solutions to a judging panel, and conclude Camp with a closing ceremony.
All Campers have the opportunity to stay in New York City to participate in UNGA activities representing UNITE 2030.
About Camp
The majority of Camp 2030 takes place in upstate New York, tucked into a quiet corner of Adirondack National Park near the town of Warrensburg (4 hours from New York City). Campers will not only innovate for the SDGs, but build meaningful friendships & relationships with fellow Changemakers from all over the world, paving the way for partnerships, collaboration, and co-creation. Camp 2030 prioritizes fun and meaningful engagement in addition to innovation.

Camp 2030 campers are some of the brightest aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, creators, and changemakers who are transforming social change across the world.
We select our participants on the following criteria:

Actionable and demonstrated commitment toward the SDGs;

Embodiment of our Core Values in their everyday lives.

Fluency in English;

Between 18-35 years old on the first day Camp (September 12th, 2022).

The high level of interest for the 2022 edition of Camp 2030 means that spots will fill quickly. The official summit will be held from 12th - 18th September, 2022. (Arrival is the 12th or earlier and departure after the 18th).
We are able to only admit 250 due to logistical constraints and therefore we encourage all applicants to complete their applications early. There are only 100 Early-Bird spaces available. We review applications on a rolling basis, and once all Early-Bird spaces are filled, only General Registration will be open.

Are there scholarships available?
UNITE 2030 does not directly provide individual scholarships to individuals wishing to attend, however scholarships may appear on our website if they do become available from an impact partner or an individual donor. If a new scholarship becomes available, you will be notified via email, so we recommend joining our email list.
