Overview

Camp 2030 is the world’s first hackathon-style innovation lab for positive social change. At the inaugural Camp 2030 Summit, 250 young leaders will congregate at Camp Echo Lake in New York to develop solutions to the world’s biggest challenges. During the 6-day Summit, leaders will co-create entrepreneurial solutions to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, using human centered design methods in order to unlock new and innovative ways of creating social impact at a global scale. Through the Camp 2030 design process, changemakers will effectively frame a problem and turn it into a scalable solution through the simulation of real life.

Details

Camp 2030 is hosted by UNITE 2030, a US-based non-profit organization that has been in operation since 2016. UNITE 2030 has worked with thousands of young leaders from all over the world to empower them to develop solutions to global challenges.

We’re hand-selecting 250 of the world’s top young leaders to join us at a Summer Camp in Upstate New York for 5 days of ideating, innovating, and developing next-generation solutions to the SDGs. On the 6th day, we’ll return to New York City where you’ll have the opportunity to have your solutions heard by global top talent from around the world.

Why Camp 2030?

Our mission is to empower you to change the world. The entire objective of our Summits is to spark entrepreneurship for the SDGs. During Camp 2030, you’ll have the opportunity to build new partnership opportunities, uncover innovative solutions, and expand your skillset on a variety of different areas that will help you change the world. Oh, and did we mention it’s fun?

The Ultimate “Un-Conference” Experience

Youth are leading the charge toward a better world, and it’s about time that we have a voice. We’re turning the traditional conference model upside down by allow YOU to lead the way. No stuffy speakers. No boring webinars. Just YOU, your voice, and your action.

A Focus on Relationship Building

We chose Camp as a venue for our first annual Summit because we want to create an environment that lends itself to building strong relationships. Building trust through social activities, sharing living spaces, and working in teams of like-minded Changemakers allows Campers to engage on a deeper level - paving the way for partnership, allies, and a deeper understanding of cross-cultural collaboration.

Youth-Led Solutions to Global Challenges

Finally, YOUTH are being given a platform to develop new solutions to the Sustainable Development Goals. 100% your voice, your work, and your ideas.

Professionally Facilitated Workshops

Say goodbye to stuffy speakers that talk the talk but don’t walk the walk. We’re only bringing hands-on engagements that inspire action to Camp 2030.

A Bottom-Up Approach

Youth are the future, and we live and breathe that philosophy. Camp 2030 is entirely youth-led and always will be.

Every participant who attends Camp 2030 will receive a certificate of attendance. We also will give out a number of individual awards throughout the Summit, and of course, there is the opportunity for your team to win a variety of honors, which all will be denoted in a certificate format!
