Up to two full/partial scholarships are available for applicants who are ordinarily resident in and nationals of Pakistan and who are applying to any full or part-time master’s or DPhil course at Oxford.

The Vicky Noon Educational Foundation was established in 1992 by Lady Viqarunnissa Noon, the distinguished social worker and wife of the seventh Prime Minister of Pakistan Feroz Khan Noon.
The scholarships at Oxford are funded by the Foundation, the University and a number of generous partners.

ELIGIBILITY
- You must be applying to start a new full- or part-time master's or DPhil course at Oxford.

You must be a national of and ordinarily resident in Pakistan. You should be intending to return to Pakistan once your course is completed. If you have previously studied outside Pakistan you will not normally be considered.

Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit, financial need and the potential social contribution made by the applicant on their return to Pakistan.

This scholarship is not open to candidates applying for postgraduate certificate or postgraduate diploma courses, part-time courses or non-matriculated courses.

This scholarship is not open to applications from candidates who hold deferred offers to start in 2021-22.

HOW TO APPLY
- In order to be considered for this scholarship, you must submit your application for graduate study by the relevant January deadline for your course (22 January 2021).
- If you meet the eligibility criteria for this scholarship, you will be contacted by email, around April 2021, and asked to submit a short statement setting out how you intend to contribute to Pakistan on your return, and how your studies in Oxford will help with this. Only applicants who submit the statement will be considered for the scholarship.
- To be eligible for consideration for this scholarship, applicants must be successful in being offered a place on their course after consideration of applications received by the relevant January deadline for the course.

Decisions are expected to be made in early July 2021. If you have not heard from us by this time, then please assume your application has been unsuccessful.
