We are experts in primary research methodologies – both qualitative and quantitative - but also surface insights from across VICE’s ecosystem such as content analytics, campaign performance, our DMP and some third party data sources. The team is as much analytical as it is creative. We thrive on curiosity, ambition and collaboration – within the team and across departments.
Role x You
You are a passionate, detail-oriented researcher who is well versed in a variety of research methodologies but also wants to break with convention and create new ways to gather and analyze information.
In the short term you will manage research initiatives for both VICE and partner brands. This includes supporting the measurement of branded campaigns, bespoke research projects for internal departments and clients, and thought leadership for the company as a whole. You are the backbone of the team, working to ensure adherence to schedule and data quality standards and drafting research instruments and presentations.
After 6 months in this role you will become more comfortable with our research methodologies and data sources as well as have a solid understanding of our audience and VICE’s brand mission, enabling you to not only manage projects but add critical thinking to the final reports.
And after a year you’ll grow to lead smaller research projects on your own with less oversight as well as write proposals to pitch for new research projects. You will also participate in sharing learnings and best practices with internal and external stakeholders.
