Founded in 1973, Lambda Legal is the oldest and largest national legal organization whose mission is to achieve full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians, gay men, bisexuals, transgender people and those with HIV through impact litigation, education and public policy work.

Making the case for equality in the courts and in the court of public opinion is a huge job and our staff can’t do it alone. That’s where you come in. Our volunteers help us extend our efforts to communities all over the country. As a Lambda Legal volunteer, you can make a difference right where you live.
