ONE-ON-ONE MENTORSHIP

Leadership may be defined by your actions, but what you learn is refined through reflection. A mentor can be that person who listens, challenges, and encourages you at any point in your life. As a Rising Star, you have the option to match with a dedicated, online Mentor to work towards your goals and actions, reflect on your challenges and achievements, and offer different insights and perspectives. Our Mentors are a diverse group of global professionals who are selected for their passion and commitment to support women leaders.

CURRICULUM FOR CHANGEMAKERS

Setting goals and identifying strategies to achieve them are important for every leader. We collaborate with our Partners to design and craft leadership lessons that help bring clarity and focus to your personal and professional development. Topics are designed to be personal so that you can reflect and apply the lessons to your own experience.

GLOBAL COMMUNITY

With the support of our global Partners, we identify and offer opportunities for you to put your leadership into action. These opportunities are curated to match your needs and ambitions, and they include conferences, scholarships, workshops, trainings and more!

EDUCATION FUNDING

Access to funding is one of the biggest barriers preventing women leaders from obtaining their education. Where loans are inaccessible to many and scholarships are limited and competitive, our Future Income Sharing Agreements are both accessible and affordable.

ADVANCING WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP IN CAMBODIA

Wedu offers opportunities in Cambodia to advance women’s leadership develop through mentorship, online and in person development programs, and funding for education. Programs can be available in English or Khmer.

APPLICATION PROCESS

• STEP 1 - LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

  Every year, we have different leadership development programmes to support your growth. If you have not yet completed a leadership development programme at Wedu which contained at least16 hours of training, you can enroll in the Introduction to Leadership course instead (learn more and register below).

• STEP 2 - RISING STAR APPLICATION

  Complete and submit the Rising Star Application Form. Once you complete a leadership development programme at Wedu, you can directly apply to become a Rising Star (learn more and apply below). If you have not yet completed a programme, please complete the Introduction to Leadership course first.

• STEP 3 - COMMUNITY INTERVIEWS

  Once you have completed a leadership programme at Wedu and submitted the Rising Star application form, you will be invited to two interviews with people from our community to share more about your vision and plans. On successfully completing and passing the interviews, you will become a Rising Star!
