Scholarships in Sweden

As a top 100 university and ranked in the top 0.4% of universities in the world, Lund University attracts high achieving students from across the globe. The Lund University Global Scholarship programme seeks to recognise these students by awarding academic excellence grants.

Calls are now open for proposals for junior fellowships for fall 2025: Interfaces and Unfitted Discretization Methods, August 27 – December 12, 2025.

Design is a creative and intellectual activity that questions, shapes and visualises objects, systems and interactions. The discipline of design is firmly embedded into cultural frameworks. Today, almost any issue can become the subject of design processes.

Every year a limited number of KTH Scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence. Recipients of the KTH Scholarship will have their tuition fee waived for the first and the second year, provided that the study results during the first year are satisfactory.

This scholarship is for students who have applied for and been admitted to a Master´s programme at the School of Business, Economics and Law and are required to pay a tuition fee for education in Sweden.

Mälardalen University (abbreviated MDH) is one of Sweden’s large institutes of higher education. The University has over 14,000 students studying our 52 programmes and 1,000 courses, and almost 900 faculty and staff.

Umeå University offers scholarships each year, in conjunction with the Autumn semester admission, to academically talented and high-achieving students. Scholarships offered are in the form of tuition-waivers.

Linnaeus-Palme is an exchange program for teaching staff and students at bachelor and masters level. The aim of the Linnaeus-Palme program is to raise the quality of higher education by integrating global perspective.

Each year, Rotary selects up to 90 professionals from around the world to receive fellowships to study at one of our peace centers. The Rotary Foundation will be accepting applications for the fully-funded 2025/26 Rotary Peace Fellowship. Up to 90 peace and development leaders will be selected globally to earn either a master’s degree or a post-graduate diploma in peace and conflict studies at one our Rotary Peace Centers located at leading universities around the world.
