CV Format in Ireland

You’re about to submit the first document that could ever represent you as a candidate worth screening, so your CV has to be done with careful thought. This document should be able to catch the attention of your future employer and make them think that they have to talk to you via interview to know you better. That being said, make sure you include information about you that is relevant to the job posting and is straightforward in reflecting the skills you have that may benefit the company.

Parts of your CV	Content
Heading	The heading should contain your name. Although some employers would appreciate seeing a decent photo of the candidate in this section, it is not a requirement of companies in Ireland.
Personal Information	Sharing your personal information is very important so your employer would know how to reach you should you be an interesting candidate. Indicate your local mobile number in Ireland, your email address, and any other means they can contact you such as through LinkedIn.
Professional Experience / Work History	This section is the highlight of your document. Make sure you list down your work experience in reverse chronological order, putting first your most recent job experience. Briefly discuss your achievements in your previous role. List only the job experiences that are relevant to the position you are applying for.
Educational Background & Trainings Attended	This section shall reflect your credentials. List in reverse chronological order, listing any relevant awards and achievements in the duration of your education. Should you have taken any training or post-graduate course, it may help that you also include them here.
Skill	Although this section may not be required, it would be appealing to your employer that you can present and specify skills that you have, which can help you in your future career with them. You can list down technical and special skills in this section which you may have acquired from a previous job or through training.
