Welcome to the FENS Forum 2024
Dear colleagues, dear friends,
It gives us great pleasure to welcome you to the FENS Forum 2024, in Vienna, Austria. We are excited to meet again, bring the community together and celebrate neuroscience in Vienna, Austria, this splendid capital city, historically significant for its contributions to European scientific and cultural heritage.
The FENS Forum is Europe’s largest international neuroscience congress, representing the field in all its diversity: from different research topics, perspectives, to the varied backgrounds of our participants, all reflecting a strong commitment to equity and inclusion.
The Forum is the perfect platform to meet, debate and learn from each other. You will have several opportunities to shape the activities of the congress and share your research with peers. Informal interactions will spark innovative ideas, and science will take centre stage through an exceptional programme focused on latest research, highlighted by featured speakers, symposia and poster presentations. The Forum will also give you a chance to meet with FENS member societies and senior editors of the European Journal of Neuroscience (EJN), the official journal of FENS.
In addition, Vienna is a wonderful and dynamic city to discover, full of history and outstanding heritage. You will be able to move around easily and meet with friends and colleagues as a result of the efficient public transportation system.
Thanks to the incredible efforts of our host societies, the Austrian Neuroscience Association and the Hungarian Neuroscience Society, Vienna is opening its arms and welcoming the FENS community. The co-hosts are providing inspirational support and determination in making FENS Forum 2024 a great success. We are also delighted to mention that a local host student committee will help facilitate the Forum experience for early career scientists, many of whom will be presenting their research for the very first time.
There is something for everyone at the FENS Forum, so make sure to sign up for the FENS newsletter and follow FENS on social media for the latest updates (#FENS2024)!
