The 2024 Global Summer School provides excellent opportunities for students to learn about China through academic and cultural immersion. A wide range of courses in various disciplines are provided, including Plant Development and Future Agriculture, Exploring Sustainability, Understanding Global Challenges and Promoting Responsible Actions, and Metaverse Creative Practice, with each course accompanied by Chinese language courses.
In addition to academic lectures, International students can participate in local excursions, cultural activities, and field trips. From these extracurricular activities, students will learn more about Chinese culture, history, politics, and the latest developments in the country. This is a chance to experience Chinese culture firsthand and to make friends from China and all around the world.

General information about Shanghai Jiao Tong University

Eligibility
- Students from oversea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macao must be enrolled as undergraduate or graduate students prior to applying for this program.
- Students of Non-English speaking countries should provide an English language proficiency certificate. IELTS no less than 6.0, TOEFL no less than 79 points, and TOEIC no less than 800 points. If you are studying a full English taught program, please provide the relevant certificates.
- Other prerequisite required by each course.
