Overview
The United States Super STEM Competition (USSSC) is an educational non-profit organization running a yearly event to challenge the creative mind of all middle school, high school and college students.
Details
The educational focus for 2024 is to provide an opportunity for students to demonstrate their innovative knowledge and skills by competing towards one goal ...success! To get started, schools teachers, or students must register online for the Division they wish to enter, then build the project following the Official Rules. Submit it to us during the posted dates for a chance to win recognition awards. Additionally, eligible students may apply for the Susan Sanford Memorial STEM Scholarship.
We open the 2024 competition to all public, private, parochial, vocational, charter, magnet and home-schooled students in the world wishing to register. There are no worries of travel expenses to the competition site at Somerset Berkley Regional High School in Somerset, Massachusetts. Most Divisions call for submitting a 3 minute video of the completed project to us. In June, our judging committees made of our own engineering students, staff and alumni help to select the top winner in each of our 14 Divisions. Divisions are guided by the curriculum standards of the Next Generation Science Standards, Standards for Technological and Engineering Literacy and the Massachusetts Science and Technology/Engineering Framework.
USSSC is seeking and forming partnerships with Education, Industry and Business to help nurture creative problem solvers and communicators needed in the workforce. We hope to drive an educational revolution for the greater good. We believe giving students the opportunity to exercise their academic muscles will help keep STEM pipelines flowing with technologically literate and skilled problem solvers helping to strengthen economies for generations to come. Good luck to all in the competition!
