We are looking for Auto ML / MLOps Intern to help extend and scale-up ArcaScience’s data science and management infrastructure ASTk. ASTk is a suite of libraries for NLP and AI models for an end-to-end processing and analysis of heterogeneous biomedical data on a large scale.
You should have an engaged personality, used to work proactively and you are passionate about your work. You enjoy broadening your horizon in order to master new technologies and like to expand your skills continuously.
Core responsibilities (you will be)
- Assessing the requirements of state of the art Deep Learning models for text classification and information extraction
- Piloting the fine-tuning and the selection of best Deep Learning models for each task
- Automating the training and selection of newly incrementally trained DL models
- Automating the deployment of ML/DL models in test and production environments
- Scaling-up the performance and execution of NLP modules and ML/DL models in production

Requirements & Qualifications (you have)
- Teamwork spirit
- Decent English. A Fluent French is a great plus
- Experience with Python and/or Java languages
- Knowledge of machine learning technologies and platforms (e.g., Spacy, Pytorch, Tensorflow..)
- Experience with ML and DL models, feature engineering and hyper parameter tuning
- Basic usage of source control technology: Git, github and gitlab
Plusses (would be nice, if you have)
- Familiarity with Natural Language Processing topics (e.g., pos tagging, named entity recognition, entity linking, text classification)
- Knowledge of RESTful / gRPC architectures and implementations
- Familiarity with Scala language
