Overview
The Arqus European University Alliance is pleased to announce the third call for applications 2024 of its Arqus Talent Scholarship Fund.
The Arqus Talent Scholarship Fund is designed to attract and retain talent at postgraduate level from around the world.
In our third call for applications, we are looking for talented graduates and students who want to pursue a Master’s degree at one of the Arqus partner universities (Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Lyon 1, Maynooth, Minho, Padua, Vilnius and Wroclaw) including a compulsory mobility at a second Arqus partner university.
Details
Students selected for this Arqus Talent Scholarship must complete a compulsory mobility at a second Arqus partner university. The mobility can take the form of a:
- Study period
- Training
- Research stay
The minimum duration of the mobility is 1 month. The maximum duration depends on the regulations of the respective entrance university.
The Arqus European University Alliance encourages applicants for multiple and longer stays. Applicants who plan multiple and/or longer stays in their studies will be given priority in the selection process.
Successful applicants will also be required to participate actively in Arqus activities and act as Arqus Ambassadors within their two Arqus universities.

Description of Ideal Candidate
Priority will be given to students with fewer opportunities, refugees/asylum seekers and applicants with a Bachelor’s degree not obtained at the Arqus university where they will undertake the Master’s degree or where they are currently enrolled.

Cost/funding for participants
For this third call, a minimum of 8 Arqus Talent Scholarships will be awarded.
The scholarship is composed of a subsistence allowance of 1,400€/month to cover the student’s living costs, medical insurance and a materials allowance. In addition, the Arqus Talent Scholarship will cover the tuition fee at the student’s entrance university.
The Arqus European University Alliance would also like to support students with fewer opportunities under this scholarship scheme by providing a special needs fund of 250€/month.
