We work closely with the EU and International organisations.  Our assistance entails setting up legal structures as well as implementing procedures and management tools.

Based in Brussels, we are seeking a highly motivated intern to join our team. We offer an attractive and dynamic working environment.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Main tasks are:

  • Support in drafting and reconciling in & out invoices, visa reconciliation, and follow-up expenses;
  • Support in drafting financial contracts;
  • Support in reconciling payments and cash flow activities;
  • Draft routine correspondence;
  • Support/handle the relationship with stakeholders, clients and suppliers;
  • Maintain up-to-date assets’ lists and inventories;
  • Help run payroll data;
  • Help prepare Word, PowerPoint, and Excel documents;
  • Support the Team during internal audit, preparation of budget and cost controlling;
  • Provide general accounting support;
  • Logistics and organizational support;
  • May perform additional missions upon request.

Description of Ideal Candidate

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or vocational training in Business Administration, Economics or any related field (master’s degree in related fields is a plus);
  • Understanding of EU Law and Policies and previous experience within international associations (aisbl), EU Institutions is a plus;
  • Superior attention to details;
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Canva;
  • Ability to function under pressure and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English (knowledge of French/Dutch is a plus);
  • Eligible to work in Belgium (Residence Permit) and have finished studies.

Cost/funding for participants

Job Offer:

  • Internship contract (convention d’immersion professionnelle) for 6 months, renewable for other 6 months
  • Gross salary: 1.300,00€ per month.
  • Extra benefits: GSM (also for personal use), and meal voucher (10€ per worked day with 1.09€ employee contribution), transportation allowance.
