Edenred is a leading digital platform for services and payments and the everyday companion for people at work, connecting over 50 million users and 2 million partner merchants in 46 countries via roughly 900,000 corporate clients. CONTEXT

Since 2016 Edenred has embarked in a deep transformation exercise:

  • A strategic growth plan (called "Next Frontier" and “Beyond”), setting precise growth objectives and levers, per country, per zone and at group level

  • An acceleration of Edenred's transition to Digital, in its product & service offer, in its core processes and in its IT organization

  • A much stronger focus on go-to-market strategies, product marketing and customer marketing

  • A rebranding exercise, to better formulate its mission to the outer world

  • A proactive diversification strategy: new spending categories, new geographies, new user segments

As of January 2022, Edenred reorganized in 3 Business Lines, with the Employee Benefits Business.

Line accounting for 70% of Edenred Group results with geographical presence in:

  • EMEA (21 countries, incl. 19 countries in Europe) structured around 5 regions: France, Italy, NOE (Northern Europe), CEE (Central Eastern Europe) and SEMEA (Southern Europe, Middle East and Africa)
  • Americas (7 countries) structured around 2 regions: Brazil and HA (Hispanic America))

Within Employee Benefits, the Strategy team is in charge of:

  • Strategy
  • M&A due diligence
  • Special projects to the Employee Benefits COO
  • Business development
  • Business Excellence

MISSIONS

The missions of the Strategy Intern are:

  • Strategy
    • Support Employee Benefits Strategic Plan elaboration (3-year plan)
    • Contribute to Capital Markets Day preparation (strategic presentation to Edenred investors)
    • Help to define Business Line strategy and ambition in Employee Engagement Platform market
  • M&A
    • Participate to strategic due diligence of M&A targets
  • Ad hoc support
    • Help the strategy team members on ad-hoc subjects (e.g. business development projects, etc.)
    • Supervise countries operational performance monitoring

PROFILE

  • Bac +5, Business / Engineering school, ideally in second part of her/his gap-year or for final year student - Mandatory Internship Agreement

  • Interest for strategy and finance

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a transversal role

  • Mastering of Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Analytical and communication skills

  • Fluent in French and English
