Overview
Fudan International Summer Session is a 4-week English-taught course study program for college students from all over the world. Starting from 2012, the program has welcomed more than 5,000 students in the past 11 years. It helps students achieve multicultural understanding, establish a global vision, and get connected with peers from all over the world. Fudan University's degree students will also participate in the program. So students will have the opportunity to get to know Shanghai and China, and become part of the Fudan community.
Details
Content courses cover a variety of topics, Business and Economy, History and Culture, Science and Technology, Society and Politics, and Law. In addition, PE courses such as Chinese Kungfu and Chinese Folk Dance, and different levels of Chinese language courses are also provided.
Apart from the courses, various extracurricular and social activities, such as Shanghai city exploration, Company visits, Chinese painting, Chinese calligraphy, Chinese ceramic art, etc., are also arranged for students to experience the Chinese culture and the wonders of Shanghai, achieve multicultural understanding, establish a global vision, and get connected with peers from Fudan and all over the world.
After successful completion of the course study, students will be awarded a program certificate and an official transcript from Fudan University.
Fudan International Summer Session 2024 (OFFLINE+ONLINE, Jul 08-Aug 02, 2024) will provide:
- 29 content courses in History and Culture, Society and Politics, Business and Economy, Science and Technology, and Law.
- Chinese language courses in 3 levels (40 credit hours each, optional)
- 2 PE courses (optional)
- Various activities: Ice-breaking, Shanghai City Walk, Huangpu River Cruise, a day-trip to Suzhou, Chinese Shadow Play, Chinse Calligraphy, Chinese Painting, Farewell Party, etc.
- Company Visit: Baidu, Byte Dance, HiPhi, SenseTime, etc. (subject to change.)

Fee
- Application Fee: CNY 400 (online payment, non-refundable), only refundable when the program is totally cancelled;
- Tuition: CNY 20,000 (Note: Students from Fudan’s partners will receive a 10% discount for tuition if we are officially notified by partner universities.) (online payment and should be paid between mid-April and June 23)
